Diego Suarez (officially: Antsiranana) is Madagascar's northernmost major city with one of the largest natural harbors in the world. The city is a vibrant mosaic of Malagasy, Arab, and French colonial history – bustling, colorful, and authentic.
The highlight of this tour are the Trois Baies – three stunningly beautiful bays in the north: the Baie des Dunes with sand dunes, the Baie des Pigeons in rich turquoise blue, and the Baie de Sakalava, world-famous among kitesurfers. Each bay has its own character – all three reachable in one day.
I plan the entire route, organize accommodations, and accompany you as a guide through the city, to the market, and to all viewpoints.

Itinerary
- 1Day 1: Travel Nosy Be → Diego Suarez. City tour, local dinner, overnight.
- 2Day 2: Full-day Trois Baies tour (all three bays). Swimming, picnic, optional kitesurfing.
- 3Day 3: Mer d'Émeraude excursion. Return to Nosy Be in the afternoon.

- Not included: Travel Nosy Be–Diego Suarez (flight approx. €50–80 or combined transfer), meals, drinks
- Tsingy Rouge: On the way to Mer d'Émeraude lies the Tsingy Rouge – a 45-minute hike through glowing red laterite formations. Optional stop that integrates easily into the tour.
